San Francisco: land of interesting places, diverse population, liberal thinking, technology, high intelligence, and wealth!
Have been fortunate to visit the city by the bay at least once a year since the late 90s. Would honestly love to live there but the cost of living is the highest in the U.S. Did actually work with an S.F. realtor two years ago. Will sum it up this way. Saw an apartment in the Mission just under a million. It looked like a former crack house. The kitchen something from the 50s. The 5+ layers of enamel paint would have to be scraped. No heat or air. Property was a complete disaster! Loved by wealthy millennials because the Mission doesn’t get much fog, is one of the warmest parts of the city and has fabulous food and drinks. Left my heart in San Francisco for the moment but if I could accept living in a space about the size of a one car garage for between $900,000.00 and $2,000,000.00 I would be having an estate sale tomorrow. Promise to let you know!
