As Chelsea Handler would ask,” What do I know about Irish Whiskey?”
I know that Irish Whiskey has an “e” before the “y” unlike other whiskys.
I know that good Irish Whiskey is made from 100% malted barley in distilled pot stills. It comes from one distillery.
I know that there are Protestant Irish Whiskeys: Bushmills Irish Whiskey is produced in Northern Ireland considered Protestent. Jameson and many other Irish Whiskeys are produced in County Cork considered Catholic. (My grandmothers Addie and Hanora loved County Cork and of course, Irish Whiskey. Hanora had her own flask and Addie could do a good Irish Jig.)
I know that Irish Coffee has Irish Whiskey, coffee, brown sugar, and real whipped cream in it.
I know that Irish Coffee causes me to have a spritual experience and it keeps me warm!
I know that The Buena Vista Café in San Francisco has the best Irish Coffee in the U.S.
I know that some claim that Irish Coffee is an aphrodisiac.
And this is what I know about Irish Whiskey.
